What is Intuitive Singing?
Intuitive singing is a holistic and deeply personal approach to vocal expression that emphasizes connecting with and expressing one's inner feelings, thoughts and emotions through the voice without the constraints of formal musical structure or technique. Unlike traditional singing, which often focuses on precision, technique, and following specific musical arrangements, intuitive singing is about allowing the natural, spontaneous flow of your voice to guide you.
This form of singing encourages you to tap into your intuition, the subconscious parts of yourself, and the emotional depths within to bring forth a unique, often improvisational vocal expression. It's less about hitting the right notes and more about what those notes represent and express on a personal, spiritual or emotional level.
This 6 week experiential group course will explore singing as an intuitive inner practice to connect with the power of our authentic voices, embodied self expression and lay the foundation to access the healing gifts of our intuitive vocal abilities, whether you're shy or new to singing or a seasoned singer or sound healer this practice can help open up more freedom to play, create and trust the deep inner impulses of your sound for healing with self and others.
We explore sounding from the body and emotion, toning and light language as well as inner visioning, singing archetypal energies and shamanic sounds, all of this invites play to unblock the gateways for your voice to flow and flourish with new levels of trust, courage and curiosity. Often when we move through emotional blocks the natural voice begins to flow from a more connected enlivened place transmitting a more powerful and aligned vibrational sound!
